SERVPRO of Southern York County is a leading full-service provider in the Maine area, specializing in comprehensive property restoration. From Water and Fire Emergency Services, Moving and Storage of Contents, to Textile Cleaning and Reconstruction, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional results to our clients.
The Construction Technician is responsible for providing construction services as required on small construction projects. Although they are not responsible for producing large jobs, depending on their skill set, they may perform some or all the following: rough and finish carpentry, drywall, paint, prefinished hardwood, and laminate flooring. Additional valuable skillsets would include: tile, carpet, roofing, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. They are responsible for delivering a high quality of construction and service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in managing construction services. In addition, they may be called upon to assist managing larger projects with a Superintendent, i.e., making calls to subcontractors and performing quality control.

Prepare work areas for various construction activities, ensuring safe and efficient processes.Collaborate effectively with management and fellow technicians to streamline production operations.Execute production processes as directed, maintaining quality standards.Conclude each workday or project with a thorough cleanup, leaving the job site in an organized and orderly condition.Position Requirements:
Valid driver's license.Successful completion of a background check, as required by applicable law.Physical Capabilities:
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.Comfort working at heights and in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.Proficiency in handling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects.Competence in working with and around cleaning agents.Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma/GED preferredIICRC certifications preferredExperience in cleaning, restoration, or construction preferredStrong work ethicStrong oral communication skills
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements:
This is a full-time position working 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), including some evening and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Pay range is $20-25 per hour based on experience, with the possibility of overtime pay available.
