Highgate maintains corporate offices in London, New York, Dallas, and Seattle.Location:Kaimana Beach HotelOverview:Dishwasher is part of the prep team, a key member of Hau Tree Culinary. Responsible for sanitizing kitchen, cleaning dishes, portioning out meals, keeping a clean and organized work area.Responsibilities:ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Clean and sanitized dishes, pots, glasses, smallware, flatware, and kitchen equipment.Correctly store clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned areas.Ensure refrigerators and storerooms are neatly organized.Dispose rubbish, empty bottles, store cardboard boxes properly in dumpster after every shift, making sure trash receptacles are left orderly.Responsible for logging of all dishware and glassware breakage.May be assigned to assist in light food preparation i.e. washing, peeling, chopping, and grating fruits, vegetables, and/or meats, always following proper food safety guidelines.Ensures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation.Performs other kitchen related duties as assigned by the by Sous Chef and kitchen management team.REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Qualifications:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Restaurant experience preferred.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Prolonged periods walking or standing.Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time.Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.Must be able to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently.Must frequently immerse hands in water.Must be able to work in a hot and damp environment.I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE JOB DESCRIPTION AS STATED ABOVE AND ACCEPT THAT ANY OF THE TASKS MAY BE MODIFIED OR CHANGED.
