Fleet Support assists in all functions of HCI's health screening services. The focus of Fleet Support is in the transporting of the mobile units, performing of health screening services as-needed, training of new technicians, receiving technician phone calls and responding to concerns/issues in a timely manner, and assisting in tracking and scheduling vehicle maintenance. Candidate must either have an active CDL Class-A Driver’s License OR be willing to obtain one within 6 months.

Stay in comfortable hotels while OTR

Per diem paid 7 days/week while OTR in addition to salary

Comp time provided to "pay back" any weekend OTR time

HCI covers all equipment, travel, and vehicle maintenance costs

***This is not solely a driving position - Fleet Support also performs health technician services - great for CDL drivers who need a break from long OTR hours

***Training is provided in order to perform health screenings.

Must have a CDL-A license with air brake endorsement

Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background screening

Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills

Good communication skills and ability to explain process to clients

Good documentation skills

Ability and willingness to travel out-of-state for periods lasting from 1 day up to a several weeks

Frequent travel to/from Rockford/Chicago area and around the Midwest

Occasional nationwide travel

Must have technical capabilities with computers, internet, email, etc.

Verifiable clean driving record

Physical ability to lift 25-60 lbs, run 100 foot power cords to clients' power source, and walk up to 150 yards 3-5 times per hour escorting groups of employees to mobile unit for screening services

all Technicians are required to be Fit tested as part of HCI’s overall Respiratory Protection Program

Responsibilities

This position requires both proficient knowledge of our health screening process (* Training provided) , as well as the ability to train others in the process (once established and fully trained)

Function as a mobile technician on HCI Mobile Testing Units as-needed

Transport combination tractor trailers to new regions, client sites, and maintenance facilities throughout the contiguous USA

This position requires occasional short notice travel which may range from one or two days to several weeks

On-Call for emergency situations, delivery of services, and client/technician based issues

Monthly salary

Per Diem while on the road traveling/training/performing health screenings

Vacation time in first calendar year of service is up to two weeks (pro-rated based on date of hire)
