SHEET METAL Foreman Job description
Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal duct systems, equipment, and products by performing the following duties.
Typical Duties and Requirements
Will be required to help promote a safe working environment every day.Will be required to work independently and be able to keep assigned crew productive.Reads and interprets blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal duct systems.Lay out and install duct systems from coordination drawings and contract drawings.Lay's out and marks dimensions and reference lines.Installs assemblies in supportive framework according to blueprints.Inspects assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications.Repairs and maintains sheet metal products.Will be required to have skills in duct design, ability to read ductulator to help in calculation proper CFM requirements.
