Head Host/ Hostess at La Colombe d'Or Hotel

LaColombe D'or is seeking a friendly and outgoing Head Host/Hostess to join ourteam at our renowned restaurant. The Host/Hostess will be responsible for leading other host team members and providing excellentcustomer service to ensure that our guests have a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests uponarrival and assist with seating them at their tables.

Manage reservations andwaitlists using a computerized system.

Answer phone calls andrespond to online inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Assist with organizingand setting up private events.

Handle guest concernswith grace and professionalism

Perform light cleaningduties, such as wiping down tables and sweeping the floor

Restaurant servicepoints are a plus including etiquette and being able to read the floor of anyneeds by guests.

Qualifications:

Previousexperience as a host or in a customer service role is preferred.

Ability to lead other hosts increating consistency in effective quick responses

Communication with all guests inhouse and future reservations

Strong communication andinterpersonal skills

Ability to multitask andhandle a high-volume workload.

Proficiency withcomputer systems and software, such as Microsoft Office and reservationmanagement systems
