Job Summary
:
Operates a truck that delivers materials and finished goods from one facility to another at the Vidalia, GA location.
Responsibilities
:
Operates a truck that delivers material and finished goods from one location to another.
Pickup and deliver freight efficiently and productively
Handle freight without damage
Check freight received and delivered against freight bill for accuracy
Interacts with internal and external stakeholders in order to deliver material and finished goods
Operate equipment safely and to practice personal safety
Qualifications and Requirements:
Ability to work overtime as needed
Willingness to lift, push, and pull heavy articles as needed during pick-up and delivery of freight
Must have a CDL Class A License
Must be Forklift Certified
Minimum of 24 months verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
Favorable motor vehicle report and background check
Willingness to work staggered start times
Willingness to provide Customer Service on a daily basis
· Must have a strong desire to be part of a positive team driven organization
Physical Requirements:
· Must pass DOT physical
