What will my day-to-day look like as an audit associate?
Each day is a little bit different as an audit associate, so if you value variety, this may be a great fit for you! Your daily work may include:Working with seniors and managers on a variety of client engagements from various industriesGaining testing experience in many sections of the audit, including planning procedures, various balance sheet and income statement testing areas, and reporting proceduresWorking on ad-hoc projects for the department as they ariseCommunicating on a daily basis with both team members and clientsTraveling to client sites and being an active contributor on your teamsBuilding relationships with team members and clientsReviewing feedback with your seniors and managers to continue to improve your workNetworking with FD team members at firm social eventsDeveloping a career path with your performance manager and actively seeking guidanceWhat skills do I need?

Positive attitudeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong work ethicGrowth mindset and eagerness to learnOpenness to receiving and delivering honest feedbackA strong understanding of Microsoft Office tools including proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPointMust have an undergraduate degree in accountingGraduate degree in accounting preferredMust have 150 credit hours to be eligible to sit for the CPA examValid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites with reliable transportation if needed
