Position Summary:

As a Host at Larks Entertainment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their experience. Your role involves greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that the front-of-house operates smoothly. You will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing the flow of guests to various areas including our shuffleboard courts, arcade, bar, restaurant, and patio.

Key Responsibilities:Guest Greeting:

Warmly welcome guests as they arrive, provide a friendly and professional first impression, and assist them with seating arrangements.Reservation Management:

Manage reservations and walk-ins, coordinate seating to ensure efficient use of space and minimal wait times, reserve shuffleboard lanes for guests.Guest Assistance:

Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about reservations, wait times, and general information about our venue's offerings.Seating Coordination:

Assign tables based on guest preferences, party size, and current availability. Ensure that all seating arrangements are communicated clearly to the serving and bar staff.Customer Service:

Address guest requests, concerns, or complaints with a positive and solution-oriented attitude. Ensure that guests feel valued and attended to throughout their visit.Waitlist Management:

Maintain an organized waitlist system, communicate estimated wait times, and follow up with guests when their table is ready.Front-of-House Maintenance:

Keep the host area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Monitor the entrance and ensure it remains welcoming and free of clutter.Team Collaboration:

Work closely with servers, bartenders, and management to ensure a seamless flow of service and efficient handling of guest needs.Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in a host or customer service role in a high-energy environment is preferred but not required. We are open to training enthusiastic candidates.Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and handle guest interactions with professionalism and courtesy.Attributes:

Friendly, approachable, and capable of maintaining a positive attitude even during busy periods. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Knowledge:

Basic understanding of reservation systems and customer service principles. Familiarity with the layout of the venue is a plus.Physical Requirements:
