Blender Operator - Day & Night Shift - Hendersonville - Up to $22.00/hr.PrideStaff is recruiting for Blender Operator for Day and Night Shift for a manufacturing company located in Hendersonville.Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring the proper blend of concentrates are usedaccording to customer specifications and food safety and quality guidelines.Duties and Responsibilities:Read and follow blending guidelines as set forth on a formula sheet to adhere to company and customer specificationsMatch color and flavor and other quality attributes of juice to control standard, weigh and pump ingredients for batch, open drums, and containers for blending in batchPerform quality checks before releasing batches for production such as brix, acid, pH, sensory, and color, and adjust batches to meet specificationsUse a computer touch screen to fill batch tanks with bulk ingredientsUse computers to research inventory needs and make batch correctionsUse hand-held scanners to batch formulasResponsible for resolving all errors related to batchesPerform sanitation of tanks and rooms, move empty drums/totes/bins for disposal or storageAccountable for food safety, food quality, and regulatory requirements for their positionEncouraged to notify management about actual or potential food safety issuesAdopt and maintain all SQF requirements for their positionTaste test products as needed, up to a couple of ounces per testPerforms other related duties as required and assignedQualifications and Requirements:A high school diploma or equivalentSix months of manufacturing experienceForklift experience requiredProficient in mathematicsExperience in the food/beverage industry a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetailed oriented and have the ability to multi-taskExcellent time management skillsWhat's In It For You?High School Diploma or GED is REQUIREDTemp to Hire positions, benefits upon conversionRoom for growthAfter conversion, company gives raises to keep up with cost of living, as well as performance based incentivesEmployee RecognitionPaid WeeklyHours of Work:Day Shift - 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and Night Shift - 6:00 pm to 6:00 amCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $21.00 - $22.00 Per Hour
