The cycle counter for the Norton Distribution Center will be responsible overseeing inventory flow throughout the organization, ensuring both accuracy of inventory levels and quality of product. To be successful in this role, the incumbent must have the ability to interact and communicate effectively with management, floor personnel, and other internal departments.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Completes physical inventories of warehouse products.Documents and reports damaged products.Documents and reports short, dated productResearch inventory discrepancies.Assist in troubleshooting functions related to shipping/receiving.Able to work independently with little direction.Able to perform other duties as assigned.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING :
High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of two years' experience in shipping/receiving in manufacturing/warehouse environment requiredLicensed to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferredFamiliar with warehouse documentation and processing requirements requiredStrong computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems, NAV experience preferred.Ability to read, write and take directions in English.Bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese preferredKnowledge of Manufacturing Inventory Management Systems preferredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENT:
Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without difficulty.The noise level in the office environment is typically moderate.Company provided Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) must be worn while on the production floorExciting Benefits Await You!
