TAX MANAGER
Sisterson & Co. LLP, a regional CPA firm located in Pittsburgh, PA, is hiring qualified candidates to join our tax team. We are seeking local and remote candidates to serve as our next Tax Manager.
Tax Managers oversee and manage quality tax services to a diversified client base. Managers review individual, trust, non-profit, and business tax returns and review research findings to ensure conclusions are consistent with firm standards and procedures. Tax Managers bring excellent communication skills and a solid ability to interact with clients, establish, and maintain external relationships. As a manager you will train, evaluate, and mentor staff, senior associates, and supervisors on engagements, provide detailed review and analysis of complex tax returns, and advise clients on a full spectrum of tax services including tax planning and compliance. Managers collaborate on interesting and complex engagements and review returns for various industries while working directly with the Tax Partners.

Bring 8-10 years of public accounting experience with a concentration in tax complianceEnjoy the public accounting industry and want to continue advancing in your careerHold a bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA or MS in Taxation preferred but not required)Have experience reviewing C Corp, S Corp, Partnerships/LLC, complex individual, trust, foundation, and not-for-profit returnsBring knowledge and experience in areas including fiduciary income tax, charitable and split-interest trusts, and other complex trust issuesDemonstrate proficiency in complex returns that contain K-1s from partnerships and hedge fundsProvide excellent technical and project management skillsHave solid knowledge of tax code, laws, and regulationsEffectively communicate, both verbally and in written formExhibit an advanced level of professionalism when representing the firmOur team members enjoy an excellent Total Rewards Package including:
