Under general supervision and reporting Quality Management in Quality Operations, The Quality Inspector is responsible for performing visual inspection operations including In-process, Final Inspection, and FAI's as appropriate. The Quality Inspector must be familiar with hand tools and inspection under magnification. The Quality Inspector will also assist in verification of test data and all other applicable data concerning components, and associated documentation and other duties identified by cognizant management.

Assembly, PCB/PCBA and IPC 600/610 experience required

Job Responsibilities:

Prior hands-on PCBA experienceInspects a variety of electronic units/boards using measuring/inspection instruments with proper inspection techniques including visual under magnification, component placementReads, interprets, and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentationProcesses warehouse materialsRelies on instructions and pre-established guidelines/procedures to perform the functions of the jobResponsible for First article Inspections and completes related documentationComplete and ensure inspection documents are kept current to include FAI inspections per AS9102Perform and complete internal containment activity of identified non-conformancesAct as a Source InspectorSupport positive corrective actions and identification of root causeOther duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND

The General Vision Acuity Test shall be performed by an Oculist, Optometrist, or other professionally recognized person. Typical hours worked are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Pay Range

$25.00 -$40.00 per hour, please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
