Join us in lowering the cost of access to space and enabling Blue Origin's vision of millions of people living and working in space to benefit Earth.As part of a diverse and hardworking team of professionals, specialists, and engineers, you will support Subcontract activities based on maritime focused acquisitions & Supplier management in support of all Blue Origin Program for strategic procurement solutions for various requirements. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of supply chain operations, driving organizational and compliant policy change to enhance Blue Origin's bottom-line.Our Supply Chain Subcontracts Administrator II will ensure program requirements are appropriately prioritized and executed to meet the needs of Blue Origin Energetics and Ordnance requirements. Theywill be competent in spec and non-spec, hazardous commodities, contracts, Statement of Work (SOW), buys/negotiations, supplier management, Blue Origin Supply Chain compliance standards, strategies, and initiatives. They have, excellent oral and written skills, solid communication skills and very strong negotiation and task management skills.Candidate will have experience preparing and issuing Requests for Proposal/Quote) (RFP & RFQ), performing cost price and market analysis in support of proposals, performing SOW construction/review, sole/single source justifications, examining should cost models, and have developed negotiation strategies and led formal negotiations with presentations related to proposal and negotiation review boards. They are experienced in constructing/managing various contracting types for major procurement activities to meet the requirements of the programs and needs of the business to include continuous improvement initiatives, and identification of opportunities for enhanced efficiencies. They will support the overall procurement organization's strategic direction and ensure corporate strategic objectives are achieved to include delivery of materials that are on time, within budget and meet technical performance requirements.Key Candidate attributes to facilitate success in this role include but are not limited to: Facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. Passion for our mission and vision is required!Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience or master's degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Degree will be in Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related specialty to supply chain managementExperience with subcontracting of products and services of varying degrees of technical and contractual complexityExperience negotiating Energetics and Ordnance contractsUnderstanding of US Government and non-US Government / Commercial acquisitionsDemonstrated knowledge / compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)Experience with most Contract Types (Firm-Fixed Price, Time & Material, Cost Plus)Experience in assessing proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)Experienced supporting DCMA Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) events.Maintain compliant and accurate files and data records.Strong analytical skills, data driven with experience in establishing and tracking program metricsInterprets and applies company, policies, procedures, work instructions, business standards and U.S. government regulations, i.e., FAR, DFAR, SOX Compliance.Create and maintain systems and processes to streamline operations.Ensure timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives of the supply chain department.Must have top notch people, teaming and communication skills.Working understanding of AS9100 andISO 9001 standards.Knowledge of Engineering Data such as specifications & source control drawings.An eagerness to identify opportunities, find solutions, execute plans, and evaluate results critically and expedientlyHighly analytical and critical thinkerMaintains passion for solving problems from end-to-endProven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple customers and internal stake holdersProven ability to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize workloadTrack record of maintaining and exceeding Key Performance Indicators (KPI)Track record of working in an ambiguous environment and ability to define processes that can scaleAdept at working with different systems and making recommendations on improvements for both systems and processesAbility to earn trust, maintain positive communication and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusionMust be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Desired:Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) CertificationProject Management Professional (PMP) CertificationCurrent active DOD Secret Security Clearance and/or Special AccessEngineering/Spec Drawing Review BackgroundAerospace Contracts ExperienceCompensation Range for:CA applicants is $73,800.00-$103,320.00;WA applicants is $73,800.00-$103,320.00
