Type of Position:
6 month contract role to start. Likely for renewal, good chance of direct hire after contract.
Candidate Requirements:
This role is working for a major defense contractor. Candidates must be eligible to obtain a secret security clearance (please note, candidates don't need a clearance to start). Due to the clearance eligibility requirement, all candidates must be US Citizens. Candidates who are Permanent Residents (Green Card Holders) or on CPT, OPT, H1B or TN visas are not eligible for this role. This company is NOT open to corp2corp (c2c) or corp2hire (c2h).

Compensation:
$38.71/hr to start. Overtime paid at 1.5x over 40 hours.
Benefits:Available (health insurance, dental, vision, 401k, etc)This role will have 7 paid holidays and 5 days PTO (PTO accrues over time). In going direct hire, there will be significantly more PTO.Overview:
HRU Technical Resources has partnered with a major defense contractor to help hire a Network Administrator. In this role, you will maintain the operation of multi-user computer systems which will include coordinating with network engineers. This role involves setting up a new Active Directory Environment and managing a single site with approximately 120 users. Responsibilities include managing the entire environment, from network to servers, and coordinating with existing engineers to ensure site uptime.
Skills, Experience, Education Required:
We are generally targeting candidates with 2 to 4+ years of relevant experience - and a relevant Associate or Bachelor's Degree. Candidates with a relevant Master's Degree may be considered with less experience, and candidates without a degree may be considered with more experience (High School Diploma / GED is required at a minimum).Extensive experience with Windows Server 2012 and above.Design, implementation, security, and maintenance of Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops.Strong experience with Active Directory, Windows Group Policy, Hyper-V, and Remote Desktop Services.Working knowledge of Dell PowerEdge.Experience in performing data migrations.Experience with Cisco network router and switch configuration.Experience in network troubleshooting.Experience with Cisco SD-WAN platform.Experience with network cabling.Experience with network packet capture methodologies.Experience with remote access solutions.Skills, Experience, Education Preferred:
Experience with Cisco, Windows, Citrix, Microsoft, and Palo Alto technologies.Work Environment:
This is a 1st (day) shift.There may be occasional overtime in this role. Any OT will be paid at 1.5x.Offer will be contingent upon a drug screen (which includes cannabis) and criminal background check.EOE (including Disability/Veterans)
