Physician / Nationwide / Permanent / Anesthesiologist Job

Hospital in Western WV is looking for a locum MDA to start as soon as credentialed and work full time. Odyssey will provide licensing help if license is needed. Must have clean background.6 MDs in group4 MDs daily, 1 on PTO (1 at ASC)All MDs need to be cardiac capable.Average 15 ORs daily, 4 MDs 15 CRNAsMedical direction16k cases annuallyBeeper Call from Home 1:5, PCDOCases: Mostly general surgery, urology, orthopedics, cardiothoracic, cath lab, OB and some pediatrics (ASA 1 dental usually). No trauma, transplant, neurosurgery or spine, ENT or high-risk OB. 3 Hearts/week (Bread & Butter Cases Typically).POS: 14 operating sites, 4 anesthesiologists per day, 1st out is the pre-call person usually 12-1pm, 2nd out is 2-3pm, 3rd out is 3-5pm and last out is the call person 6 - 8pm. Call back rate is approx. 40% after midnight, usually an urgent c-section (failure to progress).
