Regional Sales Manager - Pulp & PaperYour role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.The work model for the role is: remoteThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Process Industries division in the Northeastern US.Main stakeholders are Pulp & Paper industries.You will be mainly accountable for:* Sales Strategy Execution: Develop, deploy, and manage sales strategies to meet Sales Volume and Margin targets.* Value-Based Selling: Utilize value-based and ROI-based selling methodologies to effectively motivate potential clients to invest in ABB Solutions and Services.* Customer Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with key client representatives across engineering, process control, purchasing, and middle management levels (mill management, production, operations, maintenance, and engineering).* Account Planning: Create comprehensive account plans detailing strategies, objectives, and opportunities, including upgrades, evolution plans, and customer service strategies.* Competitive Analysis: Assess competing products/solutions and devise strategies to differentiate ABB's offerings.Our team dynamics:You will join a talented and high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications for the role
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant work experience, including military service, or High School Diploma with a minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant work experience, including military service.Equivalent extensive technical work experience in the Paper or similar Industry will also be considered.Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.More about us
The Process Industries Division serves the mining, minerals processing, metals, cement, pulp and paper, battery manufacturing, and food and beverage, as well as their associated service industries.
