Quality Inspector 3rd Shift

Printpack Rigid is seeking candidates to fill a Quality Inspector Position in our Newport News Facility, reporting to the shift supervisor. The Quality inspector's key responsibility is to Inspect, pack and label product.3rd ShiftHours 11pm to 7am, Sunday through Thursday$17.20 an hour with $2.50 an hour shift differentialMain Responsibilities :Ensure safety

Inspect, pack and label products, visually detect small defects and classify them according to standard defects.

Support 5S/ Lean Manufacturing/ PPS initiative

Required QualificationsAbility to work night shift, as well as weekends, & Holiday's if necessary

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. assisted

Problem Solving skills

Reading comprehension

Ability to use computers (Microsoft Word, Excel, email)

Physical RequirementsRequired to wear hearing protection, safety glasses, hairnet, uniform, and steel toed shoes

Required to stand or walk for extended periods of time

Bending, lifting, repetitive motion, walking, and squatting
