Department Overview:The KTS Driver transports wheelchair bound patients to and/or from medical care facilities.Responsibilities & Requirements:Job Specific Duties:Ensures the basic needs of the patient is met during transport.Arrives on time at patient pick-up locations.Ensures that patients are left at the appropriate destination.Completes patient care and billing reports.Ability to properly use wheelchair lift in ambulette vehicle and safely secure all patients.Maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations, as well as sensitive company and employee information.Operational Duties:Performs regular assigned shift duties.Maintains cleaning standards of station(s), vehicle(s), and equipment.Completes detailed Incident Reports and Accident Reports, in a timely manner, at the request of management.Uses appropriate terminology and tone and follows all radio communication procedures.Drives company vehicles in accordance with company driving policies.Preferred Qualifications:Job Requirements:High School diploma or GEDFirst Aid certification, preferredCPR certification, preferredValid drivers license, with no more than four (4) points, and approval by company insurance provider
