Position Summary:
Deliver and pick up parts that are ordered for this location or ordered by another local body shop, garage, dealership, etc. Responsible for loading and unloading deliveries when possible.

Work as a team with parts manager, parts stocker and parts deliveryInsure the right parts are picked up from other locationsCorrectly and Efficiently Load, Unload and Deliver PartsDeliver parts ordered by other shops, dealerships, etcInsure the right parts are loaded onto the delivery truckPick up parts from other shops, dealerships, etcCommunicate any issues with parts delivery or pick up4.Maintain CSI standards and contribute to overall shop CSI
Dress and Act ProfessionallyMentor and assist team membersMaintain shop cleanliness5.Maintain a safe shop and work in accordance to safety standards
Drive in a safe manner obeying all traffic lawsLift and carry objects according to safety proceduresWear slip resistant shoesAsk for assistance when lifting and/or carrying heavy objectsKeep shop clean and free from slip, trip and other hazards6.Other duties as assigned
Essential Functions of the Position
Operate a phone, computer and other general office equipmentWork with the public in a professional and guest centric mannerMust have a valid driver's license and be able to operate a vehicleCommunicate with guests, vendors, managers, and co-workersListen to guests and understand what they are sayingAbility to read, understand and follow instructionsAnswer questions regarding vehicles, the dealership and serviceKnow the features of the vehicles and be able to accurately and clearly communicate them to a guest base from a broad range of backgroundsSkills, Education and Certification Requirements:
Moderate computer skills and demonstrated ability to learn other programsAbility to effectively build a rapport with othersGood communication skillsValid in-state driver's licenseAcceptable motor vehicle recordOrganizational and time management skillsAssociates Degree or equivalent experienceHAZMAT CertificationWork with the public frequentlyAbility to multi-task in a fast paced DealershipGeneral knowledge of vehicles and partsPhysical Demands
Works in a variety of temperatures; periodically exposed to the weather including rain, snow, heat and coldBends, stoops and goes from a standing position to a squatting position (and vice versa) several times throughout the work shiftPushes, pulls, lifts and carries objects up to 30 pounds frequentlyPushes, pulls, lifts and carries objects up to 65 pounds occasionallyUses hands, wrists and arms in repairing vehicles with twisting, grasping and other motionsTravels throughout the dealership and lots occasionally on foot and in some circumstances a Company provided golf cartDrives and parks cars
