Job Description
Adhere to General Work RequirementsPerform hidden damage inspectionEnsure all paperwork is complete and complies with engineering specifications, manufacturers maintenance manual, and Repair Station/Quality Control Manual prior to end-of-shiftPerform service inspections of aircraft or components in accordance with applicable parts of chapter 14 CFR (FARs) and the manufacturer's maintenance manualAssist other inspectors in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualificationPerform the Preliminary Inspection upon arrival of an aircraft at the facility prior to the commencement of maintenance or inspection.Inspect aircraft maintenance, repairs and alterations performed by Aircraft Maintenance Technicians to ensure the corrective action was completedInspect all flight control systems maintenanceInspect fuel panels, final floorboard installation, final nose cowl closing, final aft fuselage closing, and final circuit breaker panel installation and provide "OK to Install"Inspect engine installation and provide "Installation OK"Train, coach and mentor employees in the performance of duties in area(s) of qualificationProvide data to customers as requestedAdhere to General Work Requirements as required in coordination with Quality leadershipPerform conformity inspections of engineering documents to most current design per assigned aircraft.Weigh aircraft using the pre-weight checklistInitiate RED's and RFE's as requiredResearch aircraft drawings and technical dataUpdate Maintenance Manuals with revisions as requiredQualifications
You typically have 5 years' aircraft maintenance experienceYou have 2 to 3 years' inspection experience - preferredYou typically have 1 year aircraft maintenance experience with business jet aircraft - preferredYou have the ability to read and interpret engineering documents and maintenance manualsYou have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or appropriately rated Repairman Certificate.You have basic knowledge of SAPYou have working knowledge of business aircraft inspection programs, for example, final close out procedures, engine installations, and in-process inspectionsYou have working knowledge of business aircraft maintenance, preventative maintenance, rebuilding, and alteration as related to inspection buy-offYou have working knowledge of Repair Station/Quality Control ManualAdditional Information
