Emergency Medicine Physicians
to join our team of dedicated providers!The ideal candidate will be BE within 5 years of completing residency or BC.
Full time is 12, 12 hour shifts for 144 hours per month
Potsdam ER:
7a-7p or 7p-7a24 hours of physician coverage and 36 hours of APP coverage
APP shifts:
8a - 5p and 5p - 2a in the main ED10a - 10p in the intake area as a provider in triage
Physician coverage will be expanded to 36 hours per day in Q1 2025 when the new ED opens
Physicians average 1.32 patients per hourAccepts transfers from MH and GHER runs trauma
Massena ER:
7a-7p or 7p-7a24 hours of physician coverage and 8 hours of APP coverage
APP shift:
1p - 9p in the main ED
Physicians average 1.34 patients per hour
Significantly less-busy nights
Critical access hospital
Gouverneur ER:
8a-8p or 8p-8aPhysicians average 1.18 patients per hour
Generally lower acuity with significantly less-busy nights
Critical access hospital
Financial PackageCompensation:
Massena ED: $300/hrPotsdam ED: $285/hrGouverneur ED: $265/hrSystem Physician: $315/hr
System physicians cover shifts at all three hospitals
Signing Bonus - $50k for a 2 year contractStudent Loan Repayment
Location qualifies for the several loan repayment options
