Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer
Total Experience: 6+ years
Position Overview:We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with experience in designing,developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate willhave a strong background in software quality assurance, a deep understanding ofautomation tools, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute automated tests and analyze the results to identify issues and ensure the quality of the software.Continuously improve and enhance the existing automation framework to ensure high efficiency and reliability.Perform code reviews and provide feedback to improve test automation practices across the team.Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution, ensuring high-quality releases.Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, helping them to grow in their roles and contribute effectively to the team.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure the automation practices remain cutting-edge.Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to the overall Agile process.Work closely with DevOps to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.6+ years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on web and mobile applications.Strong programming skills in languages such as PythonStrong understanding of testing framework PyTest and Experience in API TestingUnderstanding of Financial Service Application (trading)Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:
Primary SkillsetPython, PyTest,Selenium, JUnit, TestNGUI TestingRESTful API Testing and understanding of testing tools like Postman.Experience in following.JIRABitBucketSonarQubeAppDynamicsSplunkFamiliarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
