Responsibilities:
Preparing complex Federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, non-profit organizations, and pass-through entitiesPreparing gift tax returnsPreparing quarterly and year-end tax projectionsPreparing and maintaining tax workpapersDelivering clear requests for informationResponding to Federal, state, and local tax noticesResearching Federal, state, and sometimes international tax issuesBasic qualifications:
Minimum degree required: Bachelor's degreeRequired field of study: Accounting or FinanceMinimum years of experience: 2+ yearsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteStrong communication skillsPreferred knowledge/skills:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong time management skillsProficient with use of GoSystem Tax RS is a plusCPA certification is a plus.
Work location:
Garden City, NY and West Palm Beach, FL. Hybrid schedule will be considered.
