Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Assists in providing the fundamental aspects of programs or cases and assists in providing client services, including support for families, under close and regular supervision.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assists with conducting food pantry services to prevent and resolve client food insecurityAssists in picking up food and clothing donations throughout Burlington county driving agency box truckProvides information and referral to clients on food pantry services and other social services over the phone or in personAssists with sorting and unpacking all food pick-ups and donations.Assists in collecting all donations for holiday events.Occasionally lift food items 10 to 20 pounds to sort and stock shelvesRestock shelves with food from our food back stock and prepare premade bags of food to distribute to the communityOTHER DUTIES:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Provide a high level of customer serviceBasic knowledge and understanding of case managementBasic knowledge of preparing premade food bags for the communityBasic computer and software skills and experienceComplete work with accuracy and meet deadlinesCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; understand and follow directionsEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, families, caregivers, service providers and staffKnowledge of community resources is highly desirableSUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma1 year of related experience (work or volunteer).Spanish speaking a plus
