**Laborer**Gray West Construction - West Sacramento, CA 95691 Job details Job Type Full-time Full Job Description**Gray is currently seeking a Laborer to join our team in Sacramento, CA.**The general labor/helper will work on construction projects, usually working in a multi task capacity, by transferring from one task to another where demands require worker with varied experience and ability to work without close supervision by performing the following duties.Including the following but not limited to:* Cleans up around job site* Transports materials, tools and supplies* Perform duties to the highest safety and quality standards in accordance to company standards* Assist with moving fixtures and equipment as well as un crating new equipment* Shovel and rake dirt, rock and concrete* Assist with the demo phase of a project as job dictates* Mops, brushes, or spreads paints or compounds over surfaces for protection* Assist on site PM or Superintendent with any misc. tasks they need support on**LANGUAGE SKILLS**Ability to read safety manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, customers, and clients.**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**Must have basic business mathematical skills.**REASONING ABILITY**Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or other forms.**Required Experience:**To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
