KiZAN Technologies has an immediate need for an exceptional individual to join our family as a Data and AI Solutions Architect. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, is a true team player with a commitment to success, has leadership skills, and will be able to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly-changing environment.
General Role duties and responsibilities:Support complex sales initiatives, focusing on opportunities over specific financial thresholds or key strategic accountsSupport complex customer initiatives, primarily involved in planning and design phases, while enabling other team members for broad production effortsDevelop offers and align them with Microsoft initiatives and funding where possibleActively listens, creates, and sustains constructive tension and trust with customers/partners by respectfully challenging their decisions and/or areas where they might do more and encouraging them to consider alternative architectures/solutions and approachesDevelops and expands existing impactful relationships with customer architects, C-level technical decision makers (TDMs), and business stakeholdersIdentifies and evaluates industry trends (customer industry verticals, information technology [IT] industry), gathers customer insights (e.g., feedback around technical preferences, environments, business needs, competitive landscape), and maps architecture and digital transformation solutions to customer business outcomesSupports customer-skilling by leading discussions on technical delivery with other internal and external stakeholders as a technical thought leader to influence customer readinessSpecific Role duties and responsibilities:
Lead role on strategic SOWs including the following:
Opportunities KiZAN believes to be over $100,000 in services, involving multiple KiZAN teams and technologiesStrategic customers requiring over $250k of services over a 12-month period
Billable oversite role as Solution Architect
Up to 20 hours per week billable25% target over the average of a single quarter
Establish relationships and communication cadence with Microsoft technical and account resources in the Azure, Fabric, Machine Learning (ML), and other Intelligent Data platform technologiesBuild and present Go To Market (GTM) materials around PowerBI, Fabric, and other data platform related technologiesParticipate in workshops, webinars, and conferences related to the Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform and create meaningful relationships to drive businessMinimum requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in IT with at least seven years in a senior consultant/architect roleProven track record in designing and implementing Microsoft enterprise-level IT solutions
Mandatory skills and abilities:
Ability to disambiguate complex ideas and communicate in a simple and compelling way to a wide variety of audiencesExcellent written and oral communications skillsExcellent planning and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiationStrong analytical and technical skillsAbility to travel, overnight up to 10%Ability to travel independently to client sites; if by car, a valid driver's license or reliable method of transportation is requiredAuthorization to work in the US without sponsorship.Preferred skills and abilities:
Knowledge of business, technology, industry, and market ecosystemsThinks, behaves, and acts in an innovative consulting manner to drive organizational strategiesExposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments
