Job DescriptionDPR Construction is looking for a Tax Accountant with 2+ years of tax experience and wants to be a part of a great team. This position has plenty of opportunity to expand your tax skills, grow professionally, and to contribute to the growth of a multi-billion-dollar, multinational enterprise. The position will be based out of our Sacramento office and is a hybrid role with days in the office as well as WFH days.
In this position you will work with the Tax Team to ensure that all tax requirements are met. You'll have opportunities to work on the following:Preparation of the federal and state tax returns for C-Corporations and pass-through entities (Partnerships, LLCs) - Including the unique computations applicable to the construction industryPercentage of Completion CalculationAnnual Tax Provision CalculationRespond to and Resolve Federal and State tax noticesCredits and Incentives for large companiesInternational tax compliance for a growing multinational companyCollaborate with F&A and project teams across DPR and Subsidiaries
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. The successful candidate will have:
• A passion for providing value and delivering a quality work product• Excellent listening skills and strong oral and written communication skills (Accounting, Reporting, Payroll, Treasury, et al)• The ability to identify, analyze, communicate and resolve complex issues• The ability to work under the direction of our Tax Managers, work with the Tax Team, as well as the ability to work independently• Experience preparing federal and multiple state tax returns for pass-through entities and C Corporations• Experience with Partnerships, C Corporation and S Corporation tax rules and regulations• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, OneSource Income Tax, Alteryx, and internet tax research services•
2+ years of full-time tax experience in either a CPA firm or industry•
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Master's Degree in Tax• CPA preferred• Construction industry experience is desirable, but not required• A strong work ethic, a "can-do anything" attitude, and a desire to grow• A good work-life balance
