Franklin Sports, Inc. is looking to hire a passionate, high-energy individual to support our Memphis Operations.

What you will do:

We are looking to hire an Inventory Control Supervisor for our 500,000+ square foot distribution center. This role will support inventory operations, with supervisory responsibilities for the Inventory team. This position may be required to work 1st shift hours (6:00am to 2:30pm) with overtime during the week and on weekends, as required.

This position is located at our Distribution Center in Memphis TN and will report to the Inventory Manager.

IN MORE DETAIL, YOU WILL:Assigns work and directs the day-to-day activities of employees engaged in cycle counting and other means of inventory reconciliationEnsures counts are researched, validated, and systemically booked before end of shiftAssists operational departments with research regarding inventory discrepancies that arise during the shiftUtilizes root cause analysis to locate and correct inventory related process errors, including recommendations to prevent reoccurrenceManages assigned employees to ensure adherence to company policies and proceduresPromotes and maintains a safe and productive work environment for all employeesHands-on leader, providing solid leadership and effective conflict resolutionTrains new members of assigned team in work procedures, methods, and practicesInterfaces and coordinates with supervisors and employees in other departments to guarantee an uninterrupted workflowMust be willing and able to work overtime hours as assignedOther duties as assignedWHO YOU ARE:

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of three to five years of leadership experience in a distribution or manufacturing environmentPrevious Forklift experience and certification preferredWHAT YOU HAVE DONE:

Strong interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skillsAbility to lead and motivate othersUnderstanding of OSHA and safety requirementsProficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)Possesses basic math skillsLEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:

Interact regularly and follow up with internal and external parties based on direction of management, presents information for decision making to manager, and the requires ability to independently follow up on pending items and to manage their own daily tasks and projects as assigned by management.

This position does supervise employees.

This person is occasionally required to operate and/or ride on material handling equipment.Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The work will be performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to changing temperatures. While performing the duties of this job, this person is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
