In collaboration with the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan of the Mid-Atlantic States, we provide high-quality, patient-centered health care. Through this partnership, our physicians are part of an industry-leading health care delivery model, having access to advanced technological tools and receiving comprehensive practice support.
MAPMG physicians are salaried, without the pressures of alternative payment models or fee-for-services.Our members have easy access to specialists and medical records, thus allowing you to treat the whole patient.
What You Can Expect:
This position is listed as a 0.8FTE, which is the equivalent of 32 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed belowPhysician-friendly Electric Medical Record systemMix of virtual & in-person patient visits20-minute appointments11-12 patients per session
Call Schedule:Calls divided equally amongst all providersProvide newborn rounding coverageER and pediatric admission calls go to Pediatric Hospital rounderPatient calls triaged by RN first
Bult in referral basePharmacy, lab & radiology on siteCollaboration with pediatric specialist via electronic chart reviews and consultsCollegial working environmentExperienced support staffMinimum Requirements:
MD or DOBoard Certified or Eligible in PediatricsCurrently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and VirginiaWork visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.MAPMG Physicians:

The starting annual salary for this position is $192,000 which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
