Job Summary
This position involves specialized work in the preparation and development of truss design quotes. The Product Specialist must have the ability to read blueprints and create truss quotes from the plans. Candidates must have understanding of load transfer, and be able to see potential structural issues when they arise. The Product Specialist needs to be able to address structural issues before quoting.

Skills & RequirementsPrimary ResponsibilitiesQuote blueprints and fax plansProvide a preliminary layout on blueprint plansAssist team members in resolving structural design problems that may arise on various building projects.Assist with Store training on Truss designs and truss quoting processGrow the market within 150 miles from the operating Truss plantMeet and land new contractors in MenardsMeasure FoundationsQualifications
Four year college degree in any of the following OR experience in the following fields:
Civil EngineeringIndustrial Engineering / TechnologyMechanical EngineeringManufacturing EngineeringBusiness Administration / ManagementOperations ManagementMarketingConstructionTruss Sales
Exceptional guest service skills
Strong project management skills
Good computer skills
Able to manage multiple concurrent activities
