IPG Photonics Corporation is seeking a Senior Applications Engineerin Novi, MI w/ the following reqmnts: Bachelors Deg in Mechatronics Engineering, Controls Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent deg. 5 yrs of exp in the High-Power laser related field. Following responsibilities: Work w/ state-of-the-art laser processing eqpmnt, as well as the latest in robotics & machine tool technology; Set up, program, & operate robotic & CNC laser welding / cutting/drilling eqpmnt for customer application. Up to 20% domestic trvl reqd; Less than 5% remote work allowed & only as directed by the company; must live w/in normal commuting distance of Novi, MI.
