Are you a dedicated emergency medicine (EM) physician with a passion for providing exceptional care during the night shift? Join our dynamic team at Grand Strand Medical Center as an EM nocturnist! The Grand Strand System is comprised of four hospitals with a robust EM residency and GME program.
Responsibilities to include:
Deliver high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient populationManage and triage patients in the emergency department with efficiency and compassionCollaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomesProvide leadership and mentorship to junior staff and residents during night shiftsParticipate in departmental meetings and continuous quality improvement initiativesAbout the ED:
65k annual visitsLevel I trauma center 40-bed EDUp to 10 pediatric beds, can flex up or down with regular ED beds44 hours of MD coverage (flex up to 56 hours during the summer)24 hours of APC coverage (flex up to 34 hours during the summer)Meditech EMRBoard certified/board eligible ABEM or AOBEMIndependent contractor statusLocated 2 blocks from the beachCases include marine accidentsApply today to learn more.

Grand Strand Medical Center is a 345-bed acute care hospital committed to quality patient care. It is a designated Level II trauma center, Advanced Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center. The facility specializes in emergency medicine, cardiology and women's health. Grand Strand Regional Medical Center encompasses several other facilities including South Strand, a free-standing emergency medicine department located in South Myrtle Beach, North Strand, also a free-standing emergency medicine department, an advanced wound center and the Carolina Forest Imaging Center. Grand Strand's mission is to deliver high-quality, cost-effective healthcare in the communities it serves.
