Job Description Qualification: BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related technical field of study.
Responsibilities: Leverage migration best practices and templates for migration from and to PTC Windchill PLM (different versions / on-premise to cloud). Provide technical input to Solution Architects regarding solution design for data migration (CAD/Non-CAD data) Lead migration activities, including analysis, design, solution validation and any required prototyping, with the customer to verify if the best in class template solution applies to their environment to deliver value to their business. Support project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule and quality for data migration Communicate migration processes, and progress to support customer expectations and adoption.
Required Knowledge/Skills: 10 & 15 years of experience with Windchill PLM data migration, mapping, data validation. At least 3 years of experience implementing Windchill PLM solutions Previous migration experience with other PLM systems - ENOVIA/Teamcenter/Agile PLM Knowledge of one or more of the following programming languages: Java, ITK, SQL, PLMXML, XML, XSLT, C, C++ Windchill Site Consolidation experience will be a plus. CAD data migration (UG/NX, ProE, Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA) experience will a plus. Familiarity and previous experience with databases and CAD/ERP systems. Experience leading a group of consultants or customer during a software implementation or migration project. Must be a self-starter with effective analytical, excellent communication skills and experience in a customer-facing role.
