Position Description:
Global InfoTek, Inc. is looking for a Kubernetes SME to join our team to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers. This opportunity will help build and shape the Air Force organization where customers are their top priority.
Brief Description:
Demonstrated knowledge in the following: Kubernetes, Istio, GitOps.
Custom Kubernetes Operators, Custom Helm charts, Custom
Admission Controllers, Custom CRDs, Custom Controllers.
Extensive knowledge of Linux and network. Extensive experience with
Kubernetes and containers.
Understand each component of Kubernetes control plane.
Understand Istio. Have security and compliance knowledge for Kubernetes.
Experience in building automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible,
Terraform).
Knowledge of Cloud (AWS, Azure, oci, et.).
Worked with common infrastructure tools like Docker, Terraform, and Helm.
Experience working with a product that has end-users.
Have a software development background. Have a CKA Certification.
Creating and maintaining documentation for implementations.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated Knowledge as a Kubernetes expert.
Demonstrated Knowledge as a Istio expert.
Experience with GitOps deployment in hybrid environments
Experience with Custom Admission Controllers, Operators, CRDs, Controllers.
Must have experience with security and compliance experience for Kubernetes.
Must have a DoD 8570.01 Level II certification.
Desirable Skills:
Experienced Agile/Scrum
