Summary:
As the Linux Systems Administrator, you will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our Linux environments, troubleshoot issues, and support system deployments. You will work closely with other IT professionals to provide reliable and efficient IT services.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and perform routine maintenance to ensure system stability.Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to safeguard Linux systems and data from unauthorized access.Manage and monitor backup systems to ensure data integrity and availability; perform system recovery as needed.Develop and implement automation scripts and tools to streamline system administration tasks and improve efficiency.Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.Work with other IT team members to support and deploy new systems, applications, and technologies.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven 2-3 years of experience as a Linux Systems Administrator or in a similar role.C1/C2 English proficiencyStrong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, Red Hat) and related technologies.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.Experience with Linux security practices and tools.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues effectively.Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.
