JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Assurance Inspector I is primarily responsible for inspecting products at various stages of the production process and compiling and evaluating statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products by performing the following duties personally or through associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESApproves incoming materials by confirming specifications
Conducting visual and measurement testsAccepting/rejecting product using tools such as calipers, thread gauge, pin gaugesReturns unacceptable materials
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications
Conducting visual and measurement testsCommunicating required adjustments to production supervisor
Approves finished products by confirming specifications
Conducting visual and measurement testsReturning products for re-workConfirming re-work
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs
Summarize re-work and waste
Follows Soldering and Assembly workmanship standardsCompiles with Company standards associated with ISO 9001 and AS9100Identifies errors in existing production documentation and assists quality and engineering staff to execute corrective actionMaintains safe healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
Complying with legal regulations
Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.REQUIREMENTS
Minimum High School diploma or equivalent education2+ years working in an electronics manufacturing environmentPast experience working for an ISO certified manufacturing companyTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Manufacturing ERP software knowledgeWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenHigh attention to detail and willingness to identify faults in existing practices and suggest superior solutions to Marki QA proceduresAbility to communicate effectively with assembly staff and in making presentations to supervisorsCORE COMPETENCIES
