Job Description

Are you a Senior Information Systems Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Analyst/Test Engineer with demonstrated experience in supporting DoD major software acquisition pathway C4ISR and Information Systems programs? Then we have a great opportunity for you to support and manage the developmental test and evaluation of these programs for our Government Customer.As a Senior C4ISR Engineer/Analyst, you will:Evaluate and support the development of cutting-edge technology and engineering capabilities to facilitate modernization efforts and support DoD joint warfighting efforts.Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals.Receive a robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan!Enjoy flexibility managing your work hours and personal needs with a single accrual leave plan.A week in the life of a Senior C4ISR Engineer/Analyst:Provide Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Systems Engineering support of C4ISR and information systems software acquisition programs.Provide DT&E Assessments to Milestone Decision Authorities, Services, and Program Executive Officers.Review and assess Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), System Engineering Plans (SEPs), Lifecycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Acquisition Decision Memoranda (ADMs), Acquisition Baselines and Strategies, and other milestone decision documents.Observe and assess the adequacy of DT&E testing conducted on DoD major and software acquisition pathway programs.Evaluate test results, schedules, resources, and technological risks for program reviews.Provide working-level integrated product teams (WIPTs) DT&E and systems engineering support including Agile and DevSecOps software development approaches. Support Independent Technical Risk Assessments (ITRAs).Develop papers, reports, and briefings targeted to senior OSD decision makers.Assess and provide recommendations on DT&E policy.Job Requirements

B.S. degree in a scientific, engineering, technical, or analytical discipline.At least 20 years' demonstrating engineering/analyst required skills.At least 10 years' experience working with large DoD programs.Current Top Secret Clearance and SCI eligibility.Experience working with large DoD or IC acquisition programs.AI Competency.At least 5 years' experience with test and evaluation on Defense programs.Expertise working with DEVSECOPS and AGILE software development methodologies.Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States. The salary range for this position is $180k- $200k.

Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
