What We Are Looking ForLake Granbury Medical Center's Med/Surg Department is now hiring a Registered Nurse to work in our thriving 73 bed acute care hospital. The 24 bed unit encompasses complex patients that are both chronic and acute, and often with comorbidities who require surgical services. Our Registered Nurses integrate standards of care into our daily practice that includes: commitment, effective communication, customer service, responsiveness, sense of ownership and positive attitudes.
What You Will Do Job Duties:Deliver care to patients utilizing nursing processAssessing and planning care of your patientsIntervenes as appropriate and evaluates interventionsImplements safety/infection control measuresContinuously educates patient and familiesMaintains continuity of care with all departmentsMinimum Requirements:
Associate's degree in NursingCertified as a Registered Nurse in the State of TexasOne year experience as clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency programBLS & ACLS upon hirePreferred Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in NursingPrevious Cardiac, Renal, Neuro, and/or telemetry experience
