Serving the DMV area, they boast an extensive portfolio that includes diverse projects such as hospitality, multifamily, commercial, retail, and restaurant developments. With around 300 full-time employees, they specialize in Plan & Spec and Design-Build/Assist projects and have a growing commercial service and maintenance division, including HVAC and VRF systems. They generate an average of $120 million in annual revenue and currently have over $100 million in backlog.
Job Description
As a Senior Estimator, you will play a crucial role in my clients pre-construction process. Being responsible for accurately estimating project costs for a diverse range of construction projects, including hospitality, multifamily, commercial, retail, and restaurant projects. This position can be fully remote!
Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projectsAnalyze project plans, specifications, and drawingsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to develop comprehensive estimatesReview and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bidsConduct cost analysis and risk assessmentsEnsure accuracy and completeness of estimatesMaintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliersProvide support during the bidding and negotiation phasesMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
