Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Coordinator to join our team at a Nonprofit Organization Management company. As an IT Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems and providing technical support to our staff.
In this role, you will serve as the main point of contact for all IT-related issues and will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network problems. You will also be responsible for managing our organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems. Additionally, you will assist with the procurement and installation of new hardware and software, as well as the maintenance and upgrading of existing systems.
To succeed in this position, you must have a strong understanding of IT principles and best practices, as well as excellent problem-solving and communication skills. You should also be able to work well independently and as part of a team, and be comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Serve as the main point of contact for all IT-related issues and provide technical support to staff Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and network problems Manage and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and systems Assist with the procurement and installation of new hardware and software Maintain and update documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures Monitor and maintain the security of data and systems, including backups and disaster recovery plans Train staff on the use of hardware, software, and other IT tools and resources Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 2+ years of experience in IT support or a similar role Strong knowledge of IT principles, best practices, and industry trends Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications Knowledge of network protocols and firewall configuration is a plus Familiarity with cloud computing and virtualization technologies is a plus
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
