The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.Position Summary:The Architect should have an overall understanding of the ServiceNow platform modules, risks, and integration possibilities. The Architect is responsible for mentoring the team in solution design, development, and support of the platform. The Architect will also collaborate with business stakeholders throughout the organization to assess and determine how the platform can be levered to increase efficiencies, transform business processes and drive technology enablement.Position Responsibilities:Key Areas of Responsibility1. Mentorshipa. Mentor the ServiceNow Platform team comprised of developers, administrators and analystsb. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring industry best practices2. ServiceNow Platforma. Understands how to convert existing workflows into the ServiceNow standardsb. Design end-to-end solutions on the ServiceNow platform, maximizing out-of-the-box featuresc. Provides guidance to ensure that all updates, enhancements, changes, and projects are completed with minimal bugs and defectsd. Manage integrations with external systems via APIs, REST, SOAP, and other methodse. Manage multiple initiatives and workstreams simultaneouslyf. Create/update detailed documentation of all products including but not limited to design documentation, technical operations, support documentation, and release notes.g. Develop UI changes within the platformh. Relevant modules include, but not limited to: ITSM (incident, change, problem, service request), CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, HAM, SPM, HRSD, Onboarding, Employee Service Center, Knowledge Management, Virtual Agent, HR Agent/SOW Workspace, Reports/dashboards and AI search.3. Maintains governance in accordance with product and service owners.a. Ensure all work adheres to standard work, policies, and best practices for development and platform maintenance.b.
