We invite you to become part of Connecticuts most comprehensive healthcare network.The Gift Shop Office Manager oversees the daily management of the day-to-day operations of the HOCC Auxiliary Gift Shops at the New Britain General Campus and the Cancer Institute; is responsible for special events, inventory and the financial management of the shops; supervises staff and volunteers and supports gift shop buyers; ensures all gift shop policies and procedures are followed.Responsible for Merchandise Management,

Sales and Customer service and

Business Aspects of Gift ShopQualificationsMinimum:High School Graduate or equivalent.3-5 years retail experience along with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience and staff training experience.Preferred:Associates Degree in business, liberal arts or related field5-8 years retail experience along with a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. Experience working with volunteers.Bi-lingual English/Spanish or Polish a plus
