We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Scrum Master to join our Technology Resiliency & Execution team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA -

Hybrid

(3 days in office, 2 days work from home).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

The Scrum Leader roles spends much of the time helping other team members communicate, coordinate, and cooperate; generally, this person assists in meeting their delivery goals. Assists in managing and optimizing the value delivery flow through the program including assisting with execution and issue/dependency tracking. Assists managing and optimizing the flow of value through the team.

Facilitate Team level events. Coaches team to adopt agile and technical best practices. Helps team improve efficiency and productivity through mentoring and coaching. Assist with execution and completion tracking.

Assist team come up with Team level Iteration Goals and PI objectives. Assist with economic decision-making.

Escalate and track impediments.

Ensure strategy and execution alignment.

Reports status on managing risks and dependencies.

Works on continuous improvement and continuous integration with Communities of Practice.

Coach leaders, teams.

Contributes to the achievement of related teams' objectives.

Relevant competencies: Agile Methodologies-Advanced | Kanban-Beginner | Leadership-Intermediate | Lean-Beginner | Process Improvement-Intermediate | Scaled Frameworks-Beginner | Scrum-Advanced | Servant Leadership-Intermediate | Software Development-Advanced | Written and Oral Communication-Intermediate Modified based upon local regulations/requirements.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree preferred.

4-6 years of experience in a business analyst environment required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.

Talent for driving change. Ability to drive consensus and resolve conflicts across multiple parties. Supervisory or resource management.

Project management within a software development life cycle.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Strong knowledge of Agile methods, User Story writing, and prioritization techniques.

Experience working in Agile.
