Position Summary:
This is a Hybrid position. Candidates must live within regular commuting distance to Houston, TX, 77064.As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in understanding business processes, eliciting and documenting requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into IT solutions. This position requires a strong blend of business acumen and technical expertise.Tasks:Essential functionsCollaborate with business stakeholders to identify and document detailed business requirements for IT projects and initiativesAnalyze and map current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automationWork with technical teams to design and propose IT solutions that align with business goals and requirementsCreate clear and comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, and use cases that guide the development of IT solutionsPlan, coordinate, and conduct UAT activities, ensuring that IT solutions meet business needs and are free of defectsAnalyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and support data-driven strategiesFacilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring mutual understanding and alignment on project objectivesMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of business requirements, process diagrams, and project artifactsSupport change management efforts by assisting in the development of training materials and providing user support during technology adoptionCollaborate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery, including scope, timeline, and budgetSkills:
