POSITION OVERVIEWThompson Truck Group is currently seeking an individual to join our team as a Parts Delivery Driver. In this role you will have the opportunity to:

Pick up and deliver parts to customers, wholesale accounts, and suppliers.Check before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries.Assist with pulling customer order(s) when requested.Verify that invoice matches customer purchase for each pick-up.Verify when making delivery, that all parts have been dropped off.Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery.Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Request recipient's signature on each delivery entry.Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.Help with stocking and posting orders when they arrive to expedite delivery to shop technicians and retail accounts.Perform tasks on slow time list.Participate in annual inventory if needed.Any other parts department dutiesIndividuals who are successful in this role are team players with a strong commitment to customer service, have a willingness to learn about new products and product updates and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

POSITION MINIMUM & PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS•High school diploma or equivalent•Minimum 1-year prior customer service experience•Basic computer knowledge to include Microsoft Office and Outlook•Parts computer management applications experience preferred•Ability to work a flexible schedule to include some weekends and evenings•Standing for long periods of time, kneeling, reaching and team lifting up to 150 pounds
