About this role:We're looking for a self-starter who, through hard work and dedication, strives to be the subject matter expert responsible for end-user testing, analysis, and project support. To meet the business needs for our end users, you and your team will be highly organized, detail oriented, and able to work asynchronously with your partners to facilitate successful software and business process changes. The UAT Associate will work closely with Stakeholders, Product Managers, Development and Quality Assurance teams, as well as other business units with the goal of realizing impactful features and processes. You must be able to work in an agile environment.What you'll do:Collaborate and maintain relationships with product owners, stakeholders, business analysts, development, and quality assurance teams.Have direct accountability for the planning and execution of an application's User Acceptance Testing.Lead the team's Daily and Refinement meetings to facilitate clarifying user stories, business requirements, acceptance criteria, and scenarios from multiple concurrent and interde- pendent applications for all participants to ensure effective testing.Lead the team's UAT Sprint and Capacity Planning Sessions to align on testing scope across applications as well as estimated completion dates.Lead the team's UAT Retrospective to continually improve internal processes, workflows, team collaboration, and results.Participate in the development team's scrum ceremonies to contribute business experience insights, feedback, and ideas.Facilitate providing test data requirements and enrich test cases to ensure alignment to business initiatives.Collaborate in identifying risks as well as mitigations to defects or process deficiencies wherever possible to ensure release readiness.Identify defects and work directly with the developer to resolve and validate fixes.Update leadership and stakeholders regarding testing status.Provide daily operational support and facilitate defect triage for production environments.Prepare materials for and facilitate Demo/ Training meetings for various associated business units.Develop and maintain clear documentation regarding features and processes for each release.What you'll need:2-4 years of professional experience, ideally within GartnerAssociate degree or equivalent experienceProficient in all Microsoft SoftwareExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to communicate with a diverse audience at various levels and all countries and cultures within the organizationEffective listening skillsExcellent customer service skillsStrong initiativeAbility to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environmentExcellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlinesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAccuracy and attention to detailWhat You Will GetIn addition to an outstanding work environment with rapid advancement potential, Gartner associates enjoy exceptional compensation and benefits, including:A seat to the table to help drive peak performance in a growing, people business.

Join us.Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 40,800 USD - 55,200 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
