This position would be based in our Minneapolis, MN office. As a GIS Developer, you would be responsible for providing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services including mapping, spatial analysis, web applications. Responsibilities: Proficiency with ESRI software, including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS online. Creating production level cartographic maps. Conducting spatial analysis, digitizing, and editing spatial data. Geoprocessing models (model builder). Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, determine and set job task priorities. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients. Demonstrated GIS development skills that enable the engineering staff and clients to utilize GIS in efficient and directed manner while embedding SRF process and standards. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree or master's degree in information technology, GIS, Computer Science or a related field. Experience with ArcGIS Desktop & Server, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, WebApp Builder. Development experience in Python, JavaScript, CSS, C# and .NET; jQuery, ArcGIS, JavaScript API (application programming interfaces), Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, HTML5, CSS, WCF, API for Python REST and deployment with IIS. Familiarity with APIs: ESRI JavaScript API 3.x & 4.x, Portal for ArcGIS Rest API, Arc Objects for .NET (ArcMap & ArcGIS Pro), API for python. Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure, or Google Big Query a plus. Knowledge of enterprise geodatabase and RDBMS like PostgreSQL, SQL. Strong data management and organizational skills. Open to learning new open-source technologies and software. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
