Through a consultative team approach, we improve our client s profitability through solutions that increase their productivity, raise their quality metrics and improve their factory ergonomics.Our core competencies are industry 4.0 solutions involving; Assembly Technology, Augment Reality MES Solutions along with Material Handling solution that includes Cranes, Hoists and Manipulators.About the Position:We are looking for an onsite Application Specialist to be based in Fargo, ND and support one of our clients three (3) days a week and another client (2 hours away one (1) day a week.This full-time position will be an integral part of our short- and long-term success with our client and allow for a variety of manufacturing engagements. You will be responsible for building trusting relationships both internally with our client and our local team.Specific tasks will include:Support clients equipment installations and ongoing troubleshooting of the assembly torque tools and related equipment.Customer relations excellence through assisting and resolving customers technical requests / issues in a prompt and professional manner.Developing and maintaining trusted relationships with client personnel and colleagues.Programming equipment with various software suites.Be the first line contact for initial equipment commissioning and ongoing support.Participate in bi-weekly design meetings to discuss status of customer projects and pipelines.Building relationships with our vendor partners.Collaborating with colleagues.Required disciplines:2-year technical degree or equivalate factory experienceFriendly, positive, and resilient attitudeMechanical aptitudeAbility to comprehend technical product dataExcellent organizational skills ability to prioritizeFamiliar with lockout/tag out procedures and heavy industrial plant safety protocolsProficiency withCommunication networks Ethernet TCP/IP, RS 232Field Bus Ethernet IP, Device-Net, ProfibusFastening / Torque TheoryIndustrial DC power tool programming experienceFamiliar with torque reaction and versed in units of measurement (Nm/Ftlbs)Knowledge of power tool calibration processKnowledge in PLC, intelligent sockets, 2d vision systems, DC power tool repair and diagnosticsAbility to analyze and develop KPI reports using Excel and Power Point, and other commercial softwarePreferred disciplines:Bachelors Engineering degreePrior industrial / manufacturing factory experienceKnowledge in hoists, bridge crane systems, torque arms, and lift assistsLocation:Fargo / Moorhead3 days a week onsite at a specific client1 day a week onsite at a specific client (2 hours from Fargo)Travel:Up to 20%Reporting To:Great Plains Regional Manager and Service General ManagerBenefits:401 (k) plan with company matchPTOHealth and Group lifeVehicle / Gas Allowance
