JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is based out of Wisconsin Rapids and will travel to any of the 48 continental United States. They take 30 days to verify and start a new driver and the driver must come down for a 1 day course in Indianapolis, Indiana We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Over the Road (OVR) Flatbed Truck Driver. The driver will operate a manual 2014 Kenworth T660, transporting flatbed trailers across the 48 mainland states. This position requires extended periods away from home, typically 3-4 weeks at a time, hauling diverse loads. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure safety and operational readiness. Maintain accurate driving records in DOT logbooks. Adhere to all applicable traffic laws and regulations. Maintain regular communication with dispatch. Load and unload freight, with the driver handling this responsibility approximately 50% of the time. Receive detention pay for layovers and hotel accommodation for reset periods exceeding 38 hours. Earn 50% of all profits generated from each load. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Valid CDL-A license. 1-3 years of CDL-A driving experience. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles. Forklift operating skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Must possess a FedMed card or pass a DOT physical and drug test. Must possess or be able to obtain a Kwik Card Access to coastal ports.
