Correspondence Processor - Tarrytown

ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP and Quality Medical Management Services USA, LLC is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full time Correspondence Processor for our Corporate office location.
Responsibilities include processing insurance and patient correspondence including but are not limited to:
Scanning all correspondence received and attaching to chart in NextGen via ICS.
Scanning, mailing, faxing of approved medical records when needed.
Investigate returned mail.
Posting $0 payment transactions for refunds.
Contacting the insurance carriers via phone or online to verify and update insurance information in the system.
Reviewing all paper claims, correcting insurance registrations/addresses where needed. Mailing of all primary, secondary, and tertiary paper claims to carriers along with the applicable primary/secondary EOB (secondary/tertiary claims only) in a timely manner. This may require the use of the internet, Waystar, or ICS to pull EOB's.
Distributing interoffice mail to CBO.
Collect and process outgoing mail for CBO daily using the postage machine and bring to the mail box.
Reporting all issues/findings to his or her immediate supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Managers.
Keeping current and compliant with billing and HIPPA regulations.
Assist Collectors with special projects.
Cross train on Waystar denials in order to cover when Jr. Collector/correspondence processor may be absent.
